The Westend Regional Sewage Services Commission owns approximately 180 acres of property in the north-east corner of Black Diamond, Alberta.
In 2009 the Westend fenced off an area inside the perimeter of its property along the Sheep River. Local residents use this beautiful area for hiking, berry picking and as an off-leash area.
