ABOUT THE COMMISSION
The Commission is currently composed of three (3) members appointed from the Town of Diamond Valley Council and two (2) Directors at Large appointed by the Commission. The Commission contracts operation of its facilities and administrative services through the Town of Diamond Valley.
Regular Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 9:30 am at the Diamond Valley Council Chambers. The Commission may opt not to meet in December, July or August although meetings may be held in any of these months if conditions warrant. Special Meetings may also be called at any time, as required. The Regular Meeting Agenda is published on the Friday prior to the meeting.
The Commission's facilities are composed of the Turner Valley lift station, equipment in the Black Diamond lift station, the sewage lagoons, the blower building the transfer station and the approximately 180 acres of property on which they sit in Diamond Valley.
The Commission is funded through requisitions to the Town. The Commission's expenses include utility costs, operator costs, maintenance and repair costs, administrative costs and reserves.
